To honor and encourage regular individual giving to Barton, the college established the Bell Society. Named after the Kinsey Bell, which was originally located in the tower of Kinsey Hall, the first building on campus. The Bell Society was started in 2016 to recognize and celebrate a very special group of people: loyal supporters.

At its core, The Bell Society connects sustainability to growth by serving as the philanthropic foundation upon which we can continue reaching higher to serve our students.

Bell Society members have made a gift (of any size) to Barton in consecutive years. Whether just starting at the two-year consecutive mark, or giving for your thirty-fifth year straight, the choice to give consistently every year is about choosing to make Barton College, and its mission, a priority. By building the culture of giving amongst our Barton family, the future of our College and its alumni will continue to be bright.

If you would like to find out how many consecutive years of giving you currently have, or to learn more about the Bell Society, please contact Brandi Orbin, Director of Donor Relations at 252-399-6544 or bborbin@barton.edu
