WILSON, N.C. – Barton College Athletics and our 26 varsity sports are looking forward to going head-to-head in the 2nd annual Clash of the Bulldogs Thursday, September 7 through Wednesday, September 13. In the spirit of competition, each team will raise support for their chosen initiatives during the week of giving that will directly benefit the team this year.
To make a donation, go to gobulldogs.barton.edu.
Throughout the week, Barton teams will also be competing to be named winners in a variety of challenges. The winners of each challenge will be rewarded with additional funding sponsored by some of our most generous Barton supporters.
To stay up to date on the progress each team is making towards their goal, please visit gobulldogs.barton.edu and follow Barton Athletics on Facebook, Instagram and Twitter: @bartonathletics.
Gifts of all sizes make a meaningful difference in the lives of our nearly 720 student-athletes. The Clash of the Bulldogs is focused on participation from our community of Barton College Athletics friends and families as we celebrate the traditions of the past, present, and future Atlantic Christian College/Barton Athletics community.
“The funds raised from the Clash last year made a huge impact on my team,” said Warren Shumate, Head Men’s Lacrosse coach and winner of last year’s Clash of the Bulldogs. “We were fortunate to have so many people support us to help exceed our $15,000 goal. With these funds, we were able to enhance our Spring Break travel plans. Our trip to Florida played a key role in bringing our team even closer together, and I credit that bond to helping us to lock in the Champion title in 2023. Additionally, we were able to make some key purchases to upgrade our team travel apparel and equipment. The Bulldog Family would have been proud of the team and how they were able to compete, in large part due to the contributions given by our friends and family!“
Financial support is pivotal to ensure successful and competitive futures for our current and prospective Bulldog student-athletes. Make your gift, get involved, and follow along at gobulldogs.barton.edu.
